IMPHAL, March 13: The United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has claimed its hand in regard to attacking three specifically targeted locations.
Publicity director of the outfit, M Sakhen claimed in a press release that these blasts have been carried out by the outfit to serve as a last warning to certain erring individuals who have acted against the interest of the public and the UNLF.
It claimed that the attack at the Tusk and Bone oil pump located at Hafiz Hatta last night was carried out by the outfit. Also, the attack on the Bramapur Beigyabati Leikai residence of Th Satyabrata was conducted by the UNLF. Further, it also claimed the attack at the Uripok residence of SK oil agent, S Rajesh on March 4 last. It also claimed the attack at the Keisamthong Elangbam Leikai residence of Elangbam Toto who is the proprietor of Hirohito company on March 5.
It said that the attack on Tusk and Bone oil station was carried out to serve as a last warning to the pump owner namely Achoibam Deben, a resident of Lamlai Mayai Leikai at present Mantripukhri Lamlongei.
Several charges of manipulation and financial irregularities have been charged on the said individuals. The outfit mentioned that the said individuals should heed the outfit and communicate with them.
