IMPHAL, Apr 9: A discussion of the book ‘Charol Shurolgimakta Leibakpu Masha Ma-U Phana Thamnaba Upai Khara’ was held today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
RK Rabita Devi on behalf of ‘Nohakhol’ published the book which is written by Dr M Surmarjit Singh Associate Professor (Argonomy), COA, CAU Imphal.
The first edition of the book was published in December 2015.
Today’s discussion was attended by president Nohakhol Gouro Thoungamcha, National Awardee PPVFR Potsangbam Devkanta, president LOUSAL Mutum Churamani Meitei, president All Manipur Progressive Farmers Association (AMPFA) L Dhono Meitei and AMWJU president W Shamjai as functional president, chief guest and guests of honour respectvivel.
The book contains 18 chapters on organic farming techniques and know-how of organic farming.
