IPAK starts campaign on “save paddy land”

IMPHAL, Apr 1: The four-day long residential camp cum awareness programme on the theme “save paddy land and save indigenous people” has kick-off today at Kwakeithel Mission Compound, Nongshaba.

The programme was organised by Indigenous Peoples Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) and will continue till April 4. The campaign will cover in the four valley districts of Manipur.

IPAK chairman Sapamcha Jadumani, PANDAM president Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, IPSA President Luwangcha Chingkhei attended in the programme.

Over 250 IPAK volunteers and renowned Manipuri artists like Th Bonium participated in the camp.

In the programme, Poster campaign, street play and entertainment etc will be the main event of the campaign.
