IMPHAL, May 21: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh said the State government has already sought appointment from the Prime Minister in connection with the ILP issue, but due to his prior-engagements, the Prime Minister is yet to grant it.
It is learnt that the Prime Minister will be visiting Shillong on May 27, the CM told media persons on the sideline of the State observance of the Anti-Terrorism Day today.
Although the State government is putting its best efforts on the issue and will continue to do so, it would be wrong to make a single party responsible for the issue, he added.
