IMPHAL, May 10: Health condition of Tourangbam ongbi Tairni Devi who was injured in police action during agitation demanding conversion of the three bills passed in the Assembly into act and has been on fast demanding the same has got worsened.
Tairni Devi, 45 wife of T Yaima alias Anil Singh of Uripok Sorbon Thingel Gopalji Leirak, Imphal West sustained severe injuries including fracture of left hand in police excesses during a torch rally held under the aegis of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit (JCILPS) to press the demand for conversion of the three bills into act.
She started fasting from the day she was admitted to hospital for treatment.
A team of doctors came to Uripok Sorbon Thingel Leirak Machin where she launched agitation to inspect her health condition.
According to the observation of the doctors, condition of Tairni has deteriorated as her blood pressure has become low.
