IMPHAL, May 5: Claiming its hand on the bomb attack at Route 39 restaurant at Mantripukhri on May 3 night at around 7, the armed Maoist Communist Party, Manipur has alleged that the restaurant has become a drug haven patronized by the present government.
The outfit in a statement signed by its Secretary Publicity & Propaganda Nonglen Meitei contended that the daring bomb attack was carried out by its urban militia to teach a befitting lesson to the restaurant owners following complaints from sections of the society about immoral activities going on in the place.
It is a well known fact that two relatives of the ruling party are the biggest drug mafia ‘’Dons’’. The people were taken by surprise when a competent police officer was transferred after he and his team seized contraband drugs at Imphal Airport.
The team was also dissolved following the drug haul, the statement said.
Appealing to the public to distance itself from the drug marketing centre to avoid untoward incidents, the outfit vowed to wipe out the centre for drug trafficking once for all.
