IMPHAL, May 16: The United Naga Council (UNC) and Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) in a joint meeting held today resolved to convene a meeting on May 20 at Kuki Inn, Old Lambulane Imphal.
In a statement issued by the joint bodies, the meeting due to be held on May 20 will start at 11 am and would be discussing on the formation of State Level Co-ordination Committee against the three “anti-tribal” Bills passed in the Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 31, 2015.
It appealed the concern tribal leaders requested to depute two delegates representing their tribe organisations in the meeting.
