Campaign for Peace & Democracy Manipur pays red salute and condoles the demise of the honourable Chairman of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (IM) late Mr. Isak Chishi Swu. Mr. Isak Swu was one of the leaders in Northeast India who have stood firmly for the cause of a political ideology and have dedicated fully to unite his people to achieve higher level of independence and progress. He was a tall figure in the post 1947 Naga resistance movement, on whose footprints many Nagas would still continue to strive for brighter future. His untimely demise have shocked many who would miss him a lot in crucial times of Nagas’ march towards unity and the struggle for a brighter collective future in the Northeast region.

May his soul rest in peace!
