Imphal, 23rd February: As a part of the agitation to disclose the Framework Agreement, which was signed between the NSCN (IM) and the Centre, the Manipur University Students Union (MUSU) conduct a rally inside the University’s campus, holding various banners and slogans.
In most of the parts, it is reported that students are coming out and participated at this agitation. Human chains were made by the agitators. Effigies were burnt.
Reports are coming from Thoubal, Kwakeithel, Lamlong, Konung Mamang that women folks came out and joined the protest by conducting sit-in-protest.
At Lamlong, some volunteers of All Manipur Student’s Union (AMSU) and women folks from the keithel also demanded to disclose the Framework Agreement. Reports came in that they also burnt effigies of the leaders who signed this agreement.
Further reports came in that the agitation is going on at Jiribam by the AMSU Volunteers and Jiribam District Committee members.
