2nd topper Joylity aims to become a doctor

IMPHAL, Jun 3 : Thounaojam Joylity of Eureka Academy, who clinched the second position in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2017 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) has set her eyes on becoming a successful doctor.
Joylity is the second among the four siblings of Th Kumar and Sakhitombi of Thounaojam, Kakching.

Kumar is a retired Non-Commissioned Officer of SSB while Sakhitombi is presently working as a Nurse. Joylity who studied at Eureka Academy from Nursery to Class X, Thounaojam secured letter marks in all the subjects.

Talking to this daily, Joylity said that instead of going for tuition she paid utmost attention to the lessons given by the school teachers in classes.

She said that she used to go to places of the school teachers on Sundays and holidays to consult them on her studies. She gave credit to her parents, teachers, family members and friends for the outstanding achievement in the examination.

Informing that her elder sister is pursuing medical in Punjab, Joylity said that she would pursue her further study in the State considering the financial status of her family.
“After clearing Class XII examination, I will put in earnest efforts to become a successful doctor and serve my people,” Th Joylity vowed.

She lamented the frequent imposition of bandh and blockade in the State, but added that she refused to be affected by such things at all. In her message to young students, Joylity maintained that any student can excel in studies if he/she sticks to hard work, determination and perseverance.
