IMPHAL, Jun 3 : Fighting corruption from within is on the radar of third topper in this year’s HSLC examination and Shaha Minhaz of Tiny Tots’ Unique School has set his eyes on cracking the UPSC examination and becoming an IAS officer.
Speaking to a group of reporters who rushed to his house after BOSEM announced the HSLC exam result today, the young boy said that fighting corruption is what society needs and he intends to do it by cracking the civil services exam and getting into the IAS.
Spelling out his immediate plans, the young topper said that he intends to continue his studies here in Class XI and XII by taking up Science. He is however yet to decide on which institution to join.
Starting his schooling from Tiny Tots’ Unique School from Nursery, Shaha Minhaz said he has always topped his class since then.
Even though he missed the first position this time, he said he is satisfied with his result in coming third this time even though he was not particularly satisfied with his score in Maths.
Crediting his parents and teachers for the good show at the HSLC examination, the bright young boy also picked out his private tutors who guided him in his endeavour.
Shaha Minhaz however did not confine himself only with his school books as he is also fond of reading comics and magazines. Football is another of his pastime.
What is needed is hard work for any endeavour, he said.
Born to Advocate Md Alimuddin and Rashiyan Begum, Shaha Minhaz scored a total of 561 marks in six subjects and secured letter marks in Manipuri (Meetei Mayek), English, Maths, Science, Social Science and an Additional subject.

No topper aspire to become a politician. It seems politics is meant only for the school droup-outs and under matric students. High school students are not fools after all ; they very well know the people who ruin the society of its moral values.
