Chief Minister N Biren Singh today inaugurated a three-day publicity campaign ‘MODI fest’ (Making of Developed India Festival) to mark three years of Narendra Modi Government at the Centre at the Iboyaima Shanglen, Imphal.
Highlighting the achievements of NDA Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that Prime Minister Modi is a messenger of God who implemented various developmental and welfare schemes for the poor and marginalized communities of the country.
He said that the welfare schemes have reached all sections of the society including poorest of the poor during the three years.
Assuring that the State Government would work according to the wishes and aspirations of the people, N Biren Singh said that the Government upholds the idea of togetherness and time has come to work towards development, health and education sectors in the larger interest of the people.
Communal harmony and emotional integration are the need of the hour so as to regain trust among the various communities living in the State, he added.
Rajya Sabha MP K Bhabhananda Singh, Minister for Tribal Affairs and Hills and Fisheries N Kayasii, Parliamentary Secretary (Home) L Sushindro Meitei and Parliamentary Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Soibam Subhashchandra Singh attended the function.
