IMPHAL, Aug 31: The 28 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) organized a friendly Football Match at HOU GROUND between KAYC and Manipur College Students’ Association on August 30.
Prizes alongwith sports items were distributed to both the teams at the end of the match. The local people, students and Principal along with other teaching staffs of Manipur College who witnessed the match praised the support provided by the Assam Rifles and applauded that such events should be conducted at regular intervals for promoting sports and inculcating competive spirit amongst the youths of Manipur, said a release of IGAR (S).
