IMPHAL April 11: The Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) in a press release by the outfit’s publicity secretary T Leishemba appeals the public to participate in the memorial ceremony of the departed cadres of the outfit which is scheduled to be held on April 13 at Cheiraoching.
The release states that RPF has been commemorating the memorial after the clash at Kodompokpi where many cadres sacrificed their lives for the struggle of independence. The outfit appeals further for all forms of entertainment to cease on the said date and to light candles in front of residences as a mark of tribute. Officials, civil organizations, students etc are also requested to attend the memorial observance.
