NEW DELHI, December 29 (MIC): The Election Commission of India published the list of the names of Recognised National and State Parties, Registered Unrecognised Parties and the list of Free Symbols, in pursuance of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, by updating its Notification No. 56/2011/PPS-II, dated 8th March, 2011, as amended from time to time. The notification was issued by Varinder Kumar, Secretary of the Election Commission of India on Wednesday.
The National Parties and the Symbols respectively reserved for them and postal address of their Headquarters are 1.Bahujan Samaj Party -Elephant
