Ccpur, December 29: A husband today confessed to the Zomi Revolutionary Army of killing his wife in a fit of anger following an altercation between the two. The ZRA later handed the husband identified as Jangam of Panglen village to the CCpur police yesterday evening.
According to a source, the ZRA on receiving news about the recovery of a dead woman by the police from a farm house at Panglen village, had started its own investigation and had interrogated the husband, when he confessed to the crime following which the ZRA handed him over to the police.
According to a source, the husband had informed that the husband and the wife had gone to the farm house to get charcoal some days back, where the two had a minor altercation. During the altercation the wife used his hands which angered the husband, who picked up a stick and her in a fit of rage which killed the wife. Soon after, the husband returned home leaving the death body of his wife.
