IMPHAL, Feb 24 (NNN): The head mason who was reportedly kidnapped by suspected NSCN-IM cadres from a small village of Henbung in Senapati district, has been released unharmed.
According to the police, Phijam Thoiba, son of Leibakjao of Sekta Makha Leikai was whisked away by armed cadres at around 10:30 am on Wednesday from the work site where a building was being constructed.
The source said today that the mason was released safely at a place in Senapati district at around 8 pm on Thursday.
