IMPHAL, May 28: State Chief Secretary DS Poonia today unveiled the renovated statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Ukhrul town today.
The head of the statue was found missing early morning April 15. The state Chief Secretary after visiting the Siroi foothills later returned to Imphal, an official source informed.
The function was also attended by the district DC, SP and state Tourism Director.
