IMPHAL, July 6: Manipur People’s Party has decried the intervention of MLAs in the implementation of various schemes under the food policy of the Indian government.
A release of the MPP stated that the Central government has taken up various food schemes for both BPL and APL families, however the beneficiaries are devoid of the benefits of such schemes.
The MPP, however, lauded the new initiative of starting mobile fair price shop by the CAF&PD and demanded the government to be transparent in the implementation of various food schemes in the state.
