IMPHAL, July 19: A general body meeting of the technical support staff of the National Rural Health Mission is being held on July 18, 2012 at Manipur Press Club, Imphal. The meet discussed the problems facing by the technical support staff.
Irregularity release of remuneration that also by deducting from the amount which is to be received by employees, problems of social security, pension, medical allowance, maternity benefit, pay-structure, for not recognizing as regular employees were discussed during the meet, the release added.
After holding a discussion on the matters a union to be known as “Manipur NRHM Technical Support Staff Union” was established. The union has decided to insist to the Manipur government to consider such problems which is facing by the union.
Further, the union also asked to rectify the pay anomally till August 15 failing on which the union would launched pay down strike from next day, the release said.
