IMPHAL, Aug 2: Despite the late monsoon, the state has seen rainfall for the past few days and the level of major rivers of the state have risen up. The recorded rainfall for today is 10 mm according to Raj Bhawan and 12 mm is recorded by Lamphel rainfall reading gauge.
The rainfall at Kangpokpi, Saikhul and Litan is recorded at 23mm,46mm and 21mm respectively.
The river level is recorded at 784.375 in the morning and 785.400 in the evening for Imphal river. 781.250 to 787.550 for Nambul, 777.850 to 779.050 for Iril, 782.250 to 783.200 for Thoubal and 769.210 for Ithai barrage.
