IMPHAL, August 6: A team of Manipur Voluntary Health Association (MVHA), a state chapter of voluntary Health Association of India, New Delhi, met the state TB officer today regarding the present situation faced by the TB patients of the state due to the eleven day old strike by the RNTCP contractual staff, said a release of MVHA.
Earlier the team met the strikers also. The team persuaded to bring an amicable solution to both the state TB officer as well as to the strikers by considering the difficulties faced by the TB patients, it further said.
The state TB officer assured the team that he is trying his level best to bring an amicable solution by meeting the state Health Authority and expecting the result within one or two days, it added.
