According to a release DESAM, a candidate of the entrance test approach DESAM unsatisfied with the declared result. When DESAM approach the HOD of Life Science Department, MU for clarification, the HOD of Life Science Department has denied giving any clarification.

The DESAM has urged the concerned authority of Manipur University to come out clean on the declared entrance test result for admission into first semester of MSc Zoology and Botany.

Further, the seat allocation for the Zoology subject is 40. Out of this 40 seat, 31 seats were allocated. Now, instead of announcing nine seats only seven seats were announced for admission. Where are these remaining two seats? It question.

On the other hand, there are also two vacant seats for admission into MSc Botany after filling 38 seats out of 40. The criteria/condition for admission to these two vacant seats is still unclear. The students were told to take permission from the Vice-Chancellor for the admission, it further said.
