IMPHAL, August 28: Kangujam Bijen Singh of Okram Chuthek Makha Wangkhei Loumanbi, Imphal East district has filed a criminal complaint in the court of CJM, IE against Ningombam Bedajit Singh, pradhan, Lairenlakpam Ningol Kangujam ongbi Ibethoi Devi, ward member, Th Tilotama Devi panchayat secretary of Bashikhong gram panchayat and L Nilamani Singh, branch manager Imphal Urban Co-Operative Bank Ltd, SIngjamei Branch.
The contentions made in his complaint petition are that the complainant’s job card and the bank passbook were kept in the custdy of the panchayat and the wages, which are supposed to be collected by the job card holder from the bank are withdrawn by the panchayat functionaries and distribute the same to the job card holders after deducting huge amounts, said a press release.
