IMPHAL, Sept 8: A 3-day orientation/training of Haj pilgrims of Manipur state for Haj-2012 will be organised by Manipur State Haj Committee, MSHC during 9 September and 11 September at Madrasa Alia, Markaz-e-Tabligh, Lilong, Thoubal district.
Chief Minister, O Ibobi Singh and chairperson, MSHC, Md Amin Shah, MLA Kshetrigao A/C will grace the inaugural function of the orientation/training on Sunday, afternoon at 2 pm as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
In a statement issued to the press, Syed Wahidur Rahman, secretary, MSHC stated that in an effort to make the Haj pilgrim well acquainted with the logistic and rituals of Haj, the orientation/training has been made mandatory for every pilgrim to attend before proceeding to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for performing Haj pilgrimage.
