IMPHAL, Sept 10: In view of the ensuing 4th general panchayat election scheduled on 13 September, the district magistrate, Thoubal ordered to deposit all licensed arms and ammunition to the police station on or before 10 September. In a statement issued to the press, the district magistrate further stated those who wish to appeal against this order may submit their written justification for retaining their licensed arms on 11 September at DC office, Thoubal.
