IMPHAL, Sept 24: A 29 year old had a miraculous escaped after the Yamaha 350 motorcycle he was driving suddenly burst into a ball of fire at Minuthong Hatta Golapati this evening around 5:30pm.
In the bizarre incident happened as the man identified as Takhelchangbam Shyamkumar son of Bira Sharma of New Checkon was driving the motorcycle bearing regd no MN 07 S 0644.
While the driver escaped unhurt, most parts of the motorcycle had been damaged before a fire service team and the locals managed to save it from total annihilation.
