IMPHAL, October 19: The Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong Gram Panchayat Development Organization (TAAGPDO) has appealed the concern state government authority not to release funds for their Panchayat area until and unless an amicable solution with the people of the area and TAAGPDO is brought.
Speaking with media person today at Manipur Press Club, Md Sirajuddin, joint secretary of TAAGPDO and spokesperson of the organization, said that it has come to their notice that some persons have frequently complained for not releasing any amounts/funds to the Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong Gram Panchayat since some 4/5 months back thereby causing many problems in bringing up the Panchayat area to smooth development.
“In fact those persons used the name of some Association like NREGS Women Welfare Association, Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong Gram Panchayat; Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong Gram Panchayat MG-NREGS Worker Welfare Association, Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong Gram Panchayat and MG-NREGS Welfare Association who does not exist in the Panchayat area,” he further said.
“The said self-style secretaries of the forgery associations complained to the authority during the last Panchayat election for showing bad images of the sitting Pradhan although necessary assignments/works were done smoothly during the time of the said Pradhan,” he continued.
Owing to such complains development work which had to be performed in time had been totally blocked, he added.
TAAGPDO applauded the concern state government authority not to release funds for their Panchayat area until and unless an amicable solution with the people of the area and TAAGPDO is brought in the public interest.
