IMPHAL, November 17: Four persons have been inflicted with burn injuries and admitted at a hospital after a house unexpectedly erupted in flames from a suspected short circuit.
The incident happened this afternoon around 2:30pm at Konsam Leirak, Wangkhei Puja Lampak under Porompat Police Station.
The house belongs to one Hanjabam Priyo Sharma.
Even though the exact cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the fire had erupted from a short circuit.
However, timely arrival of the fire service averted any major damage.
