IMPHAL, Sep 22: The National Service Scheme Cell, Manipur University will be organizing the 41st NSS Foundation Day at 1 pm on September 24. The foundation day will be held at the Senate Hall on the second floor of the Earth Sciences department of the university. All program officers of the NSS units working under the NSS Cell, MU have been requested to participate along with few NSS volunteers for making the function a success, a press release said.
Further, the NSS Cell stated that they have also announced the results of the spot essay writing competition which they had organized on September 12 at the MU premises. The 1st Position has been given to Chitrapriya Aribam of Royal Academy of Law, Oinam, the 2nd Position has been given to Hodam Bijen Meetei of Oriental College, Imphal and the 3rd Position has been given to Kangabam Johnny Singh of MIMS, MU. Certificates and Prizes will be distributed on September 24 at the Senate Hall, MU. All prize winners have been requested to attend the function on time, the release said.
