IMPHAL, Dec 27: Actiman Pseudo Ephedrine capsules worth around 50 lakh in the international market were burned to ashes in front of Chandel police station today at around 3 pm. The Pseudo Ephedrine capsules numbering 14,970 strips were disposed of according to an order of the CJM Chandel. The disposed Pseudo Ephedrine capsules were seized under FIR No 7(4) 2012 CDL PS u/s 21-22-27A of NDPS Act and 13(B) DC Act. The band drugs were disposed in the presence of SP in charge of Chandel and CO of 8th MR, Firoz Khan, SDPO, Lunkhomang Khongsai, Inspector CAR, Kh Birchandra, OC, SM Hussain Ahamad and Meira paibi representatives.
