IMPHAL, Jan 29: The Manipur Mountaineering & Trekking Association (MMTA) deeply mourns the demise of late Thanjaliu wife of M Taithoungam, chief of the Lamdan village and also a patron member of MMTA, on January 27, said a release of the association.
“The MMTA has lost a great guardian with her untimely demise who contributed in the growth of the Manipur Mountaineering Institute Complex Lamdan,” it said.
The joint meeting of MMTA held on January 29 observed a two minute silence and prayed for the departed soul and shared the grief of the bereaved family, it added.
