LAMKA, March 6: The Joint Action Committee on Khuga Dam Project has issued a press release saying that the committee is far from comfortable with the allocation of Rs 560.88 lakh under the Check Drawer Authority (CAD) for payment of liabilities for construction of the right side main canal in respect of the Khuga Dam Multi-purpose Project by the IFC department, Manipur on February 12, 2013.
The JAC has further said that it is released clandestinely in connivance with the contractor and the concerned authority and in this regard the JAC say that they will not remain silence spectator to the development while the concern official are luring themselves with money meant for the project and added that the JAC regard such act as a nuisance toward the people of Ccpur and so will exert all its might to end this discrimination.
