IMPHAL, March 9: A joint meeting attended by representatives of nine Nisaband committees of Kangmong observed the International women’s day at Manglak Community Hall yesterday and resolved to ban intoxicants in the area according to a press release.
In a statement of the Kangmong Nupi Chaokhat Thourang Lup, its vice president Maisnam Sakhi, representatives of KYWC and Naharol Club spoke on the occasion. The meeting has also resolved to organize a meira rally on the night of March 10, 2013 to ban intoxicants as per the release.
