IMPHAL, August 18: The State Level Karate-Do Championship, 2013 will be organised on September 3-4 at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium (YAS) and all the affiliated units should produce up to date registration/recognition/authorisation certificate from their respective Styles Chiefs of India so that there shall not be any controversy in future, informed a press release issued by RK Lansana Singh, gen secy Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKA).
The release further informed all the registered unit of MAKA to contact Shihan Kirankumar Thangjam (Appeal Jury of the championship), Shihan Y Chaoba Meitei (Appeal Jury of the championship), Sensei Mutum Bankim Singh (Jt Secy Information & Publicity), Sensei L Hemamani Devi (Jt Secy Women, MAKA) and Sensei M Ibomcha Singh (Jt Secy Org, MAKA) for detail information and further informed all the senior students of the association to participate in the championship without fail.
The first position in the cadet, junior and senior will participate in the forthcoming 25th AIKF National Karate-Do Championship to be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from September 11-13 while the gold medalist in the AIKF National will be selected for the coming WKF World Championship & AKF Championship. Further, the said AIKF Championship will be the qualifying championship for the coming National Games, it added.
