Bharat nirmal effectiveness questioned

Imphal, Oct 1: Press Information Bereau of India, Imphal has concerned over the in effectiveness to create awareness to the rural people and people living in the interior areas of the state over the initiated programme of Bharat Nirmal.

Speaking this Premlata Loitam, Media and Communication officer of PIC, Imphal during the press confernece held this afternoon at PIB, Imphal office at Old Lambulane in connection with the ensuing two days Bharat Nirmal Campaign which will be started from October 5 to October 7 this month at Keinou Loyalakpa Laibung under Bishnupur district, she further mentioned that, the Bhrat Nirmal campaign which is one of the flagship programme of the Central UPA government to create the awarness of the rural populations and and illiterate persons living in interior parts over the schemes and projects taken up by the central government for the developments of rural and interior areas.

She further. mentioned that, very campaign programme of the Bharat Nirmal as launched from 2006 into the state with the Nodel agency by the PIB, but it has been very unfortunate to learnt that there is no accurate reports the officer concerned have extended their awarness to the common people of the state even though the officers of PIB, Imphal  have conducted too many compaigns and wareness programmes to the public about the development aspects in rural areas till today.

On the other the ensuing campaign which will be held at Keinou Loyalakpa Laibung from October will be held in such a way that there be exhibitions for the local made handloom and handicrafts by opening 13 stalls, besides there will be free medical cmap for the villagers during the campaign and most importantly the interaction with the villagers with the  officers  to examine the how far the  Bharat Niram projects including NREGS, NRHM, SSM, Mid Day Meat Scheme, JNARM, RTI and ICDS programmes  which have been implemented in rural areas of the state.
Media and Communication offcer of the PIB, Imphal while replying to the queries further mentioned that, there has been poor responses over the values of the camppaign from the villegers of the state till today, due to the lack of cordinations and transparency between the Central Government, State government and people of the state, beside the very campaign could not be organised in the far interior of the state as result such campiagn need to be extended further most to the interior areas of the state, so as the ignorant villagers could relaised the activities of the government for their development, she added.
