IMPHAL, Sept 7: An NDPS court has ordered disposal of 980 Kg of Ganja (Marijuana), which were seized by Litan Police station under Ukhrul district.
According to Litan police, they will be disposing of the said Ganja on September 9 at around 10 am. Police said the said Ganja packed in 98 packets weighing 10 kg each were recovered from a person by 16 Assam Rifles, Litan Post at Mahadev on Imphal-Ukhrul Road on March 4, 2013.
It was later handed over to Litan police station along with the arrested person. Litan police had registered a case under FIR No 4 (3) 2013 LTN PS u/s 20 (B) (1) NDPS Act.
