IMPHAL, September 7: The NEHLUN foundation cum education seminar was today inaugurated at the Jubilee Hall Presidency College Motbung Senapati District organised by Organising committee NEHLUN foundation.
The inauguration function cum education seminar was attended by minister Irrigation Flood Control Department (IFCD) Ngamthang Haokip, Kangpokpi MLA Nemcha Kipgen as the chief guest and president, respectively.
Speaking at the inauguration function, member of the organising committee NEHLUN foundation, Aaron Kipgen said that NEHLUN is named after former president of KNF Nehlun Kipgen.
The NEHLUN foundation is run by a trust comprising of various section of people, he said.
The foundation is formed to give support for the betterment of the needy persons in the field of education sector, sports or any other activities, he said.
He continued that the Nehlun ffoundation had recently provided free coaching classes for the entrance test of the Navodiya Vidyalaya, Mao of which, 12 got selected, he said.
