IMPHAL, September 7: Along with felicitating awardees of the Patriotic Writers’ Forum (PAWF), two books titled “Semlasi Iramdam Kallasi Ireibak” and “Reminishing My Tripura Journey”, an English translation of Rakesh Naorem’s “Ningsinglubada Tripura gi Khongchat pu” authored by Sanjenbam Bhanumati and Bhabendra Longjam respectively were released today during a solemn function organised by Patriotic Writers’ Forum held at Manipur Press Club.
The function was attended by B Jayentakumar Sharma, former president Manipur Sahitya Parishad as chief guest and Angam Jatung Chiru, vice president Patriotic Writers’ Forum, Manipur as president.
Awardees of PAWAF who were felicitated included Raghu Leishangthem winner of Bal Sahitya Puraskar Award 2012; Prof Jodhachandra Sanasam winner of Khuraijam Fulo Sanathoi Mana, 2012 and Moirangthem Rajen winner of Akoijam Chaoton Rajkumari Muktasana Manipuri Sahaitya Mana, 2012.
