IMPHAL, Sept 12: The Assam Rifles today said in a press release that the 16 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 10 Sector Assam Rifles of HQ IGAR (S) organised an interactive session with the headmen and secretaries of Tangkhul villages at Shangshak for mutual understanding between Assam Rifles and the local populace.
During the session, exchange of thoughts regarding the introduction of community hall development projects, solar lighting and computer for schools were put forward, further adding that a total of 105 people from the neighbouring villages participated. Later on, a musical session, light refreshments and lunch were arranged, said the press release.
