IMPHAL Oct 10: Various counter revolutionary mechanisms are increasingly building up anti-revolutionary elements in Manipur who are carrying out activities that contradicts the true spirit of revolution, all the while disguising themselves and portraying as activists struggling to carry forward the ideals of revolution. This observation was forwarded at the winter session of the KCP(MC) which assembled from October 7 to 9, 2013, presided by Politburo col Khoirangba to discuss the emerging trends and changes being felt in the revolutionary movement in the State.
Reaffirming their dedication to the struggle for independence, the assembly also resolved to wind up the malfunctioned Operational Committee, Auxiliary committee and Back (fiscal, monetary and budget) Committee which will be taken over by the Central Security Council, said a press release.
Discussing various proposals put up by the members and pro-activists at the assembly which also affected a major reshuffle with Khoirangba as Chief of Secretary Military Council, Paikhomba- Secy. Information & Publicity Military Council, Yaiphaba Meitei- Chief of Central Finance Military Council, Herachandra- Secy Organisation Military Council, Sanathoi- Project Officer Military Council, Lenin- External Secy Military Council and Meiraba- Commander Operation Mangal as members of the Central Security Council, it said.
The press release signed by Paikhomba Meitei also mentioned various unwanted activities being carried out by members of the proscribed group such as using photocopies of the party’s donation note to extort money from the public that has come to the notice of the party. The release further notified the public about the decision to discontinue all financial activities under the signature of Khuman Kaoba and warned the public not to extend further financial assistance for donation notes signed by Khuman Kaoba.
