IMPHAL, October 10: An accused in a rape case who is also the uncle of the alleged victim, identified as Irom Bobo (40) was today produced before the District and Session Court, Manipur East and was further remanded to 15 days of judicial custody today.
Irom Bobo (40) s/o Kameshor of Thouroijam Maning Leikai, Imphal West under Patsoi police station is charged with raping his minor neice on June 1 at his residence around 8pm and is presently lodged under judicial custody at Sajiwa Central jail following his arrest.
