IMPHAL, October 18: The Ragailong Cultural Song and Dramatic Union will organize a three-day cultural Zeliangrong festival, 2013 at Tingkao Ragwang Kalum Kai, Chingmeirong (Kabui Village).
Speaking during the function, Dr K Sobita Devi, Director, Art and Culture, said that till now the government has not contributed anything to the union for the development of art and culture but assured help from the department for next year.
She further said that fostering together the art and culture of the state will tighten up the sense of brotherhood and the integrity will be stronger, and added that we should not be careless about our rich art and culture.
She stated that for the development of art and culture everyone should contribute cutting across the communities lines.
