IMPHAL, Dec 20: Thoubal district police commandos today seized two IED bombs and contraband heroin no 4 from a van at Pallel.
The explosives and the contraband heroin weighing around 350 gram were seized from a van bearing regd no MN 01X 0469 which was coming towards Imphal from Moreh.
The driver who was arrested has been identified as Paoneingam Suantak alias Ngamboi, 30, son of (L) Kamjakham of Langol Housing complex D-type 3.
It was also learnt that the seized items were found concealed inside the oil tank of the vehicle.
Both the driver and the seized items were paraded before media persons Friday night at the Pallel CDO complex.
