IMPHAL, May 29: The Khong Ahanbi Youth Association today felicitated students of Kiyam Siphai Khong Ahanbi Leikai who have cleared their Class X and XII exams with high marks.
The felicitation function was held at Kiyam Siphai Khong Ahanbi Leikai Community Hall.
During the function, local MLA Keisam Meghachadra Singh and ward number 15 Councillor L Bhubol Singh attended as chief guest and president respectively while ward member Y Chietei Singh, Extension Officer, BDO office N Bhrigunamani Singh, Head Clerk of Police department Y Manibabu Singh and Th Ibungo Singh were also present on dais as guests of honour.
MLA K Meghachandra handed over Rs 5000 to Denash Naorem, a student of Peace and Freedon Academy, Thoubal Haokha who secured the 19th position in the class X Board conducted exam.
During the function, 11 1st division students of Manipur board, 4 1st division students and 15 1st division students of class XII of CBSE were also felicitated with monetary and also presentation.
