Imphal, July 3: Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president Gaikhangam has returned Imphal from Delhi at 11.30 this morning.
Sources said the Chief Minster, Okram Ibobi is still in Delhi.
Soon after his arrival, Gaikhangam remined closetted and could not be contacted by anyone, party workers and media alike.
The State Congress president confined himself in his room in his official quarter on the ground that he was not well, said the source.
It may be mentioned that the deputy CM and the CM had left for Delhi to attend a meeting of AICC monitoring group, chaired by AK Anthony on July 1. The CM had promised dissent MLAs in his party that he would bring up the issue of mid-term reshuffle before the party high command.
