IMPHAL, Oct 29: Some unidentified persons suspected to be militant hurl a hand grenade to the resident of one Sinam Nodiachand of Thangmeiband Lurungpurel in Imphal West district at around 6 morning.
Fortunately the bomb had not exploded.
Upon receiving the report Lamphel police rush to the residence and pick up the bomb and disposed it at a safe place.
In another case one hand grade was also found in the office of MOBES working under the MOBC this morning in the office hours.
Sources said the bomb was found inside a packet of paper with two mobile phone numbers written on them and a message saying the assailants can be contacted on the numbers.
In the mean time on October 26, unknown suspected arm persons threat Misao gas left a bomb at the counter, and make the staffs panicking and made paralyse their works.
The incident was occurred around 7:45 am in the morning. and later after informed to concern police the bomb was retrieved by a team of Manipur police bomb expert and disposed off safely.
It may be recalled that an explosion had been occurred inside the agency premises on October 7 however is was not clear the motive behind the bomb attack and threat as no individuals or organization claimed responsible for the incident.
