IMPHAL, Oct 26: The dead body of Thokchom Sanayaima 54, son of late Th Chandro of Nambol Thiyam Awang Leikaia Jilla parisad member who was shot by the unknown armed miscreants was finally taken by the family members from RIMS morgue following an agreement with the state government and JAC formed in connection with the killing yesterday evening.
According to a reliable source, the representatives of the JAC and family members of the deceased held a meeting with the chief minister O Ibobi Singh under the initiative of the local MLA, N Loken, state Agriculture minister yesterday evening at the official bungalow of the chief minister, during the meeting, chief has assured the Jac and family that state government will provide a white colour job to next to keen of the deceased along with the adequate ex-gretia compensation to the bereaved family by the state government.
Following this assurances given by the chief minister, the dead body of Sanayanba was collected this morning by the family members from the RIMS morgue.
