IMPHAL, Sept 26: Four legislators of the Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress (MPTC) have never apologized to the president of Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee (MPTCC) because they are not under it.
This was stated by MPTC general secretary Kh Jiken Singh in a press conference at the Manipur Press Club today while also adding that the suspension order issued by MPTCC president and Andro MLA Th Shymakumar for going against the MPTCC is baseless and not valid.
If the high command of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) sends a directive to select a president of the State unit of AITC then the MPTC will also comply with that directive, he said. He further stated that there is no bona fide notification for the suspension of the four MLAs of MPTC from AITC general secretary Mukul Roy. The confusion has been created by Th Shyamkumar, he added.
