IMPHAL, November 1: 4/8 Gorkha Rifles under the aegis of Logtak Brigade, Red Shield Division apprehended two OGWs including one lady OGW of KCP (MC) MTF from various parts of Bishnupur in a joint operation with Bishnupur Police on 31 Oct 10. The Over Ground Workers were apprehended respectively from Kwasiphai and Bishnupur. The details of the apprehends are namely Mashi Houidrom, 42, wife of Monglemba Houidrom, resident of Oinam near Wangoi, Imphal East and Ibongmencha Waiheinbam @ Inaocha @ Kwaktang, 37, son of Thambal Meitei, resident of Taubal.
They were involved in extortion related activities in and around Bishnupur districts.
